About me, briefly. β€” Hi!

I went to RISD, then I worked at Pentagram in the studio of Paula Scher for three years, then I quit to draw flowers, animals, and the occasional anthropomorphic toaster from a sunlit apartment in Brooklyn.

I'm a slow, careful, hand-painted illustrator. My average project takes 3-5 weeks. If you're hiring me to do 14 social posts by Tuesday, we're probably not a fit. If you want one beautiful thing done properly, we definitely are.

Books & covers

Children's books are a forever yes. Adult fiction is a maybe. Cookbooks are an enthusiastic yes if there's pie.
